How to reframe horizontal video into vertical shorts in 3 steps
01. AI follows whoever is talking
Once your shorts are made, your browser reads faces and mouth movement to find the speaker. When the turn changes, the frame cuts like an editor would instead of sliding across.
02. It splits the screen for groups
Two people talking in a scene get top and bottom panels, three get three, four or more get four. People who only listen don't get a panel.
03. Fix any scene by hand
In the editor's Reframe tool, pick a scene, drag the box to move it, drag a corner to resize, and switch between Fill and Fit. The change applies to that scene only.
Cuts, not pans — like an editor
A camera that slides back and forth is tiring to watch. The frame cuts when the speaker changes and ignores quick interjections like "yeah". Fast back-and-forth shows both people, top and bottom.
A layout for every scene
AI picks a layout per scene. Two, three or four speakers get that many panels, and a small webcam face in the corner gets its own panel next to the screen. You choose which layouts the AI may use in the editor.

Split a scene at the playhead, merge it with the one before, or give it a different layout. Hand-framed scenes look the same in the editor preview, the card on your shorts page and the MP4 you download.

Is it free?
Yes. Speaker focus, AI layouts and the editor's Reframe tool all work on the Free plan. Free covers 3 videos per account, up to 30 minutes each, exported at 720p with a watermark.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Faces and mouth movement are read inside your browser. The video isn't sent to a GPU server for analysis.
How many people can it split for?
Two speakers in a scene get two panels, three get three, and four or more get four. Tiny faces in the background and people who only listen aren't counted.
Does it work for gaming streams and lectures?
Yes. A small webcam face in a corner gets its own panel next to the screen. For lectures, the Screen share layout puts the slides on top and the speaker below.
Can I stop it from splitting the screen?
Turn off Split, Three-person and Four-person under 'Layouts AI can apply' in the editor's Reframe tool. Set Focus to Manual and that short is framed by hand instead.
