The AI Caption Generator that lights up every spoken word
Drop in a video and it's transcribed on your device, then every short gets captions. The word being spoken lights up, and each caption turns over where the speech naturally breaks. Change the whole look with one preset.
How to caption a short in 3 steps
01. Review the auto captions
Every short you make already has captions. In the editor's Captions panel, click a line on the Text tab to jump there and fix a misheard word.
02. Pick a preset
The 25 presets in the library are drawn with the same renderer as your export. One click changes font, color, highlight and motion together.
03. Tune the highlight and colors
On the Style tab, choose whether the spoken word gets a color, a box or an underline. Add more colors and the words take turns.
The spoken word lights up
Captions know when each word is said, so the current word lights up as it's spoken. Highlight just that word or fill in everything said so far, as a color, a box or an underline.
Captions that break where the speech does
Counting words alone glues the end of one sentence to the start of the next. Shorts Zone turns the caption at sentence ends, natural phrase breaks and pauses, and keeps each one on screen for at least 1.2 seconds so it can be read.
25 presets, 67 fonts
Pick from bold variety-show styles to word boxes, karaoke fills and underlines, then change the font (67 of them, including Korean ones), stroke, shadow and 3D depth yourself. Save a look you like as a template and reuse it on your next shorts.
Why Shorts Zone
Never cut mid-sentence
Every short starts and ends on a sentence boundary, so nothing stops halfway through a thought.
A virality score for every short
A 0–100 score, a first-3-seconds check and one honest note make it easy to pick what to post.
Your video stays on your device
Cutting, captions and rendering all run in your browser. Only transcript text is sent to the AI.
Paste a YouTube link
The Shorts Zone Link helper downloads it on your own computer. Drive and Dropbox links and files work too.

Frequently asked questions
Which languages does it understand?
Korean, English, Japanese, Dutch and Italian. Pick the spoken language before generating or let it detect it. From Pro you can also translate the captions into any of the other four.
What if the transcription gets a word wrong?
Click that line on the Text tab of the Captions panel and fix it. Your fix sits on the same spoken timing, so the highlight stays in sync. From Pro, AI also reads the context first and fixes misheard names and numbers.
Are captions free?
Yes. Captions, presets and styles work on every plan. Free exports are 720p with a watermark; from Lite you get watermark-free 1080p.
Can I move or resize the captions?
Drag them up or down on the preview, or change position, font size, lines and words per caption on the Style tab. You can add an emoji to each line too.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Transcription runs on your device with a speech model inside the browser, and captions are burned in on your device too.
