Title & Comment Shorts — big titles on top, comments below

Pick Title top, Comment short or POV and the framing changes while your captions stay the same. AI titles every short, and comments change in time with what's being said.

How to make title and comment shorts in 3 steps

  1. 01. Pick a format

Choose Title top, Comment short or POV from Quick start when you create shorts, or from Templates in the editor's Captions tool. Captions stay the same; only the framing changes.

  2. 02. Comments change with the talk

AI splits the short into beats and writes one comment per beat that reacts to what's said right then. The comments change as the short plays, and you can edit any text or handle. AI comments start on Pro.

  3. 03. Fix the title in one line

The title AI gave each short becomes the big title on screen. Change it in the Elements tool and the preview and your download update right away.

Titles come from the AI

From Pro, AI writes a fresh title for each short that makes people curious. On Free and Lite, AI picks the line that works best as a title and trims it at a natural pause. Either way you can change it in the editor.

Comments that land on the line

Writing all the comments at once gives you generic praise. Instead the short is split into beats, several candidates are written for each beat reacting to what's said right then, and the best fit is kept. On Free and Lite you get one comment quoting a line from the short.

Three formats people already love

Title top puts a big two-line title on black above the video. Comment short puts a big title on white and a viewer comment under the video. POV puts white "POV: …" text over the full video. All three work on the Free plan.

Why Shorts Zone

  • Never cut mid-sentence

Every short starts and ends on a sentence boundary, so nothing stops halfway through a thought.

  • A virality score for every short

A 0–100 score, a first-3-seconds check and one honest note make it easy to pick what to post.

  • Your video stays on your device

Cutting, captions and rendering all run in your browser. Only transcript text is sent to the AI.

  • Paste a YouTube link

The Shorts Zone Link helper downloads it on your own computer. Drive and Dropbox links and files work too.

  • Korean, English, Japanese, Dutch, Italian and Traditional Chinese

Transcribe and caption in all six languages. From Pro, translate captions into any of the other five.

  • Follows whoever is talking

Going from 16:9 to 9:16 keeps the speaker centered, and splits the screen for two or three people.

  • Long videos welcome

Up to 30 minutes free, 60 on Lite, and no length limit from Pro.

  • Free to start

3 videos per account for free. Lite ($4.9/month) adds watermark-free 1080p.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. The Title top, Comment short and POV formats all work on the Free plan. AI comments that change with the talk, and titles written from scratch by AI, start on Pro.

Who writes the titles?

From Pro, AI writes a new title for each short. On Free and Lite, AI picks a spoken line and trims it at a natural pause. Either way you can rewrite it under Hook title in the editor.

Are the comments from real viewers?

No. They're written by AI for the comment short format (on Free and Lite, a comment quoting a line from the short). The like and reply counts on the card are part of the format too. You can edit any handle or text in the editor.

Can I choose how many comments?

From Pro, pick Auto (about one every 6 seconds) or 1–6 under 'Write comments with AI', or ask the AI Agent for "3 funnier comments". On any plan you can add a comment at the playhead yourself.

Can I show my channel name?

Yes. The channel badge at the top left of a comment short takes your handle and channel name, and uses your uploaded brand logo as the profile picture.
