How to edit a short with the AI Agent in 3 steps
01. Open the AI Agent panel
Click AI Agent on the editor's rail to see quick actions. Check the score shows this short's score and its weak spots, like the first 3 seconds or the payoff.
02. Ask in plain words
Ask something like "make the first 3 seconds stronger and cut the part that drags" and it cuts lines, moves the start and adds a hook in one go. What it did is listed, and undo is one click.
03. Compare the score
The edited short is scored again, with the old and new score side by side. Don't like it? One click on Undo puts everything back.
One sentence, many edits
Almost anything you'd do by hand in the editor works in words: title and hook, caption look, translation and typos, cutting lines and fitting a length, framing and speaker focus, transitions, stickers, sound effects and music. Everything one request did is a single change, so undo is one click.
The score before and after, side by side
The agent edits with the short's score and weak spots in view, then scores it again. Bars for the first 3 seconds, standalone, payoff and energy show exactly what got better.
It learns your taste as you go
Every time you polish and export a short it learns your habits — length, caption look, progress bar — and it remembers requests like "never add emojis from now on". After about five shorts, pick My agent on a new video and shorts come out your way from the start. The Edit agent page in the sidebar adds Instructions, Memory and Context, where you can teach it with your own shorts or long videos.

Frequently asked questions
Which plans include it?
Pro, MAX and Ultra. Requests use your plan's monthly tokens; quick actions that apply instantly, like turning on captions or adding a progress bar, don't use any.
Can I undo what the agent changed?
Yes. What each request did is listed in the chat, and the Undo button under it puts everything back at once. The editor's undo (⌘Z) works too.
What can I ask for?
Most things you'd do in the editor: "under 30 seconds", "fix the first 3 seconds", "translate the captions", "add my logo", "write a caption and hashtags for posting". When something needs a file, like a logo, it shows an upload button.
How does it learn my taste?
It learns length, caption look and elements every time you polish and export a short, and remembers requests that start with "from now on…" or "always…". See or remove what it remembered in the My taste card in the AI Agent panel.
Is my video sent to the AI?
No. The agent only receives the short's transcript text and current settings. Cutting and rendering happen on your device.
